Proposal submission for SIOP 2025 is now open

We will shortly start planning the Scientific Programme for the 57th Congress of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology that will take place October 20-23, 2025 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We welcome suggestions for this congress.
The goal is to have a dynamic programme that includes topics of wide interest related to paediatric and adolescent cancer. We strive for representation by gender and geography in choosing speakers. We encourage nomination of promising young investigators.
*In order to submit a topic proposal, you must be an active SIOP member at the time of submission.
**Each member may only submit one proposal (if more than one is submitted, only the first one will be considered).
We would appreciate your suggestions for topics and presenters for the following session types:
- Keynote– contains one talk and one speaker. The talk should have a strong scientific focus in which leading researchers present the major topics of interest to SIOP members. Speakers should be international leaders in the area.
- Meet the expert– contains one topic and one or several speakers. This session is led by a recognized expert in a specific area. Early career investigators and clinicians will have an opportunity to discuss clinical and research questions in a more informal setting.
- Symposium– contains three talks brought together under a general theme. The symposium is led by a convener who selects the other speakers. Please feel free to suggest only a theme and convener or an entire symposium.
Please do not reach out to proposed speakers at this stage. All suggestions will be reviewed by the SIOP Scientific Committee.

As you can well understand, all proposals cannot be entertained. The final decision for the topic and the speakers will be made by the SIOP Scientific Committee. We apologize for any disappointment.
The initial selection of the proposals occurs during the SIOP Scientific Committee Spring Meeting in June and the finalization at the Scientific Meeting during the Annual Congress prior to the meeting for which we have collected proposals. All proposal submitters will receive an official notification from us shortly after this year’s congress about the status of their submission.
