For each annual meeting, SIOP provides scholarships to people who have insufficient resources to participate and to travel to the meeting. Successful candidates will receive financial support towards their travel and accommodation costs up to EUR 1500, free SIOP membership and free registration to the annual meeting. Read more

Schweisguth Prize
This prize is awarded to the author of the best scientific article by a trainee in the field of paediatric oncology. The prize is given in honour of Dr. O. Schweisguth, founding member and first President of SIOP. Read more

Hans-Peter Wagner Prize
Professor Wagner was a true pioneer in the field of paediatric oncology and his enthusiasm, drive and passion for his patients and colleagues will be dearly missed by our community. We hope this prize will honour his work and follow his lead in reaching out beyond our own workplaces to collaborate with colleagues in less-resourced settings. Read more
Lifetime Achievement Award
The Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed upon any present or past member of the Society for his/her substantial contributions to paediatric oncology. Read more
Young Investigator Award
These awards are designed to give Young Investigators, working in the field of paediatric oncology, the opportunity to present their original research at the SIOP Annual Meeting. Successful candidates will receive a free congress registration, Young SIOP Membership (two-year membership) and financial support towards their travel and accommodation cost up to EUR 1500. Nöllenburg Prize (odd Annual Meeting years only)
The Nollenburg Prize is awarded to the best paper on bone tumour, if abstract submissions of good enough standard allow. The abstracts selected for the Nollenburg Prize Session are determined by the SIOP Scientific Committee and presented during the Annual Meeting. Winners will receive EUR 1000 and an official certificate. Read more.

SIOP Nursing Network Awards
The Nursing Network abstract reviewer group awards the 4 highest scoring nursing abstracts in the categories of “Education”, “Research”, “Baseline Standards” and “QI” with EUR 200 each. For more details click here

Nursing Leadership Award

Poster Awards
The best poster in each medical/academic discipline, as stated on the abstract submission, is eligible for a poster prize of EUR 200. The Poster awards are selected during the Congress by the SIOP Scientific Committee. Read more.
SIOP Awards
The Scientific Committee selects the six highest scoring abstracts in the fields of basic and translational science, clinical trials and developing paediatric oncology programmes to be presented in the SIOP Awards Session during our Annual Meeting. Read more.
